HC154和HCT154是4到16个线路解码器/解复用器，具有两个使能输入：E1和E2。任一使能输入的高电平都会强制输出进入高电平状态。通过使用四条输入线A0至A3选择输出线Y0至Y15，并使用一条使能作为数据输入，同时保持另一条使能为低电平，来执行多路分解功能。
