LM124-N系列由四个独立的高增益内部频率组成补偿式运算放大器，可在大范围内单电源工作电压的变化。使用分流电源也是可能的，并且低电源电流漏电与电源电压的大小无关。

应用领域包括传感器放大器、直流增益块和所有常规运算放大器电路，现在可以更容易地在单电源系统中实现。为例如，LM124-N系列可以直接在标准的5-V电源电压下运行，在数字系统中使用，并轻松提供所需的接口电子设备，而无需附加±15 V电源。
